♥ you gotta be kind to yourself
From head...

So it wasn't the one tone color that I wanted. Apparently the Japanese deep black dye is heavy duty on the mean side-so I get this waterfall blonde to black effect. It's growing on me. Whatddya think?
To toe...
After my hair, I called into the Pop's asking if I could go get my nails done. Thanks again daddy <3 I went with a jade green base, with red/brown tip, with white deco flowers. Sadly my camera on my iphone doesn't do good up close.
And in the inbetween...
A fifty dollar run to the giving tree. Gotta love the random presents to yourself.
Sooo.....
To start off. The Dress that is adorned with the print that looks like you would find it in a dentist office's bathroom. I love how it makes my waist look super smaller at the top. It always make me happy to find a dress that shows my figure. Also, the winged sleeves. I am pretty sure this is gonna be a pull off after I loose several pounds as well as it is kinda tight in the bust. To top if off, ONE DOLLAR!
So next, a three-in-one. Can't see well here, but I will give you a small in look. The outer piece is is one of those vest that is longer in the front than the back with crochet at the top. The print-stripes, cheetah, zebra, maroon/forest green/deep blue mix. Awesome. Eight dollars, even better.
The outer top is a purple loose tank with straps that come it to a V in the back. Hugs me right where I want it to. Another whopping, eight dollars.
The tank top is a brown fit tank that goes past my knoo-knoos. The kind that can stretch with pajama's till dresses. ONE DOLLA'!
So what I love about this is that I have no idea what to do with it-but it was also ONE DOLLA'! I am thinking a waist belt and leggings with this = gold.
Mom just called a moo-moo. I say even a moo-moo can be cured with my brown braided belt. Look forward to experimenting with this one in the future.

So what I like about these is that they made me want to buy them. I mean I have sworn that my next boyfriend is going to be at least seven feet taller than me. But I still have a big complex about being taller than guys. But, they were gold. They were broken in. And the heel didn't kill me when i walked. They are super comfy.
Not to mention, only EIGHT DOLLARS! Or five, I forget. Ahaha.
So this is one of the most fun things of the night. The satin pink baby headband. There was another one that was a sorta teal, but as I have SOOO many blue head things-I had to go for the pink. No regrets though. I am excited to sport this out.
So aren't these a pretty number? Looked for dang-ly earrings, and picked these. The reach almost down to my ka-neck. Adventurous land I have ever stepped into before. Oh, and five dollars.
By the way, for those wondering. All was purchased at my FAVORITE store in Omaha, The giving tree. A great mixture of boutique and vintage/retro/lightly loved clothes. They have clothes fro $1 to probably in the 100's. I am a fan of the cheap, but love getting ideas from the expensive stuff. Great everything. My must every time I come back home.
Now, I am a firm believer that things don't bring happiness-the only JOY i receive is from ABOVE. Thanks Jesus. But, things DO make a day better sometimes.
Girls, love yourselves enough to splurge once and a while.
